Thursday, October 15 – 4:30 – 6:30p.m. - FREE Wine tasting event. We will be tasting wines from Chateau Lorane Vineyards (Oregon). Wine tasting is free, bottles and cases of wine will be discounted. We will be tasting the Pinot Noir, Prestige (a delicious white blend), Marechal Foch and several honey wines.
Thursday, October 15 – 7:00-9:00p.m. – Socrates Cafe – Always a great group getting together to discuss the meaning of current events and more.
Friday, October 16 - 4th Year Anniversary!!!!!!!! Yes, its true, it’s been THAT long. Come help us CELEBRATE. FREE house coffee (all day) and cake (while supplies last) and FREE gifts (while supplies last). FREE 8-minute chair massage from 8:30-10:30a.m. (reserve your time slot on Friday the 16th)

August has already been a crazy month! The hottest days of the year, the rain, the MOUNTING EXCITEMENT about….. our expansion! Yep, Spring Creek is expanding… more news later (just a little teaser to whet your appetite).
Last month’s art sales were robust! The Zimbabwe Art Project was a huge success, so much so that they will return in December… with a special guest appearance by one of its founders. Again, more later!

Enjoy a home-made mexican mocha on cinco de mayo!
This works best if you double or triple the recipe, but you can make just one serving. In a small pot, combine the cream or milk with the cinnamon, nutmeg and chocolate syrup over low heat. Heat until the mixture barely begins to boil, stirring constantly. Pour over a mug of coffee, and top with a dash of cinnamon!

April 9th – 5:30 – 7:00p.m. Meet the Mayor! Mayor Jeremy Ferguson will have his campaign kick-off right here at Spring Creek Coffee House. Come and chat and find out why Jeremy is the right choice for Mayor. No promises – just results!
April 16th – 7:00-9:00p.m. Socrates Cafe. Spend an evening discussing philosophical issues of the day.

April 18 – 3:00-6:00p.m. Scrabble Challenge! Last month I gave away three coffees. I can’t let this happen again. I’ve been reading the scrabble dictionary night and day and won’t let anyone beat me. Are you up for the challenge?
April 18th – 6:30-9:00 It’s OPEN MIC time! Come share your talents with other talented people – or just listen to the talents of others. I may try my hand at stand-up groaners (i.e She was only a whiskey maker, but he loved her still) groan groan….
This Thursday, March 19 at 4:00pm there will be a special Scrabble Challenge. Two gifted young ladies (Nicole Heitzman and Mariah Denman, students at Cascade Heights Public Charter School) have qualified to be in the National Scrabble Tournament in Rhode Island this April. They have challenged me to a game and I foolishly accepted. Place your bets on the outcome. If the girls win, they get to keep all of the bets. If they lose, I will donate all of the bets to them (they are self-funding the trip). Any donation will be gladly accepted! Come root for your favorite team!!!!
Saturday, March 21 3:00p.m-6:00p.m. is our “regular” Scrabble challenge. Anyone beating my cumulative score for the day will receive a free coffee drink of their choice. I was able to “donate” only one drink at last months challenge!
Saturday, March 22, 6:30-9:00pm. Come hear the sweet sounds of Sweet Harmony!
Local Art
We are currently showing a very talented array of art from Milwaukie High School. This is a fund raiser for their art program and the art is going fast! Most works are under $20.00 and worth 10x the price!
